In 1952, Arthur Recht founded Recht Law Offices to help families throughout the Weirton area. Today, his son and daughter carry on his practice, maintaining the family tradition of providing clients with the reliable, compassionate legal counsel they need during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

Steven M. Recht was born in Steubenville, OH, and is a native of Weirton, WV. He received his law degree, a juris doctor, in 1989 from American University, Washington College of Law. He practiced law in Philadelphia prior to joining his father's law firm in 1992. Mr. Recht primarily handles litigation involving personal injury, criminal defense and disability.

Elisa Recht Marlin is a native of Weirton, WV. She received her law degree, a juris doctor, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. In addition to being admitted to practice law in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania, she is a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania. Ms. Marlin focuses her practice primarily on divorce and family law.
